This notice explains how information is handled when you use the City View Dental website.
Scope of this notice
This notice applies to the City View Dental public website and its website appointment-request form and assistant. It does not replace the practice's Notice of Privacy Practices governing patient records and care. You may request that separate notice by calling the office.
Information you choose to provide
The appointment-request form asks for your name and phone number. You may also provide an email address, service of interest, whether you are a new patient, a preferred day or time, and a general scheduling note. We use that information to respond and help arrange a visit. Submitting the form does not confirm an appointment.
Please call the office to discuss diagnoses, treatment, medical history, insurance identifiers, payment information, or how to send records securely.
Website operations and service providers
The website is hosted by Netlify. Appointment requests are sent through Resend to City View Dental's configured office inbox. A limited delivery event may be recorded in Supabase, including the practice, referral source, campaign, page, service category, new-patient indicator, and delivery result. That event is designed not to include the visitor's name, phone number, email address, or appointment message.
Hosting and security systems may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, dates, times, and error or security events. These records help deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
Website assistant
When you submit a question to Ask AI, the website sends your question and the topic of the page you are viewing to its server. The server may use Anthropic to produce a response and may use OpenAI as a fallback. If an AI response is unavailable, the site may show prepared information. Do not enter personal medical, insurance, payment, or other sensitive information. The assistant provides general website information; it does not diagnose conditions, provide medical advice, or confirm appointments.
Other websites and embedded services
The site links to or embeds services operated by others, including Doctible for online scheduling, Google for maps and review links, YouTube for videos, and Facebook for social and review pages. It also loads web fonts from Google and may use a content-delivery network for images. Information handled on another service is governed by that service's privacy notice and terms.
How information is used and shared
Information submitted through the website is used to respond to requests, operate and secure the site, troubleshoot delivery, and provide requested services. City View Dental does not sell personal information submitted through its appointment-request form. Information may be handled by service providers working on the website or disclosed when required by law or needed to protect patients, visitors, the practice, or others.
Retention, choices, and corrections
Website information and technical records may be retained for the time needed to respond, operate and secure the service, meet legal or business obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention can vary by system and record type. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information submitted through this website, call the office. Some records may need to be retained when required by law or for legitimate healthcare, security, or recordkeeping purposes.
Children's information
The website is intended for patients and caregivers seeking dental information. A parent or legal guardian should submit requests for a child. The site is not designed to knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 without a parent or guardian.

City View Dental works to make its website and services accessible. If you have difficulty using the website or need information in another format, call (915) 544-1600. Se habla Español. Please call the office for Spanish-language assistance or other communication needs.
Security and limitations
We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect website information, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Email is not an appropriate channel for urgent or highly sensitive clinical information unless the office directs you to an approved method.

We may update this notice when the website, providers, or practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
