Dental anxiety

Dental anxiety starts with understanding your needs. Explore the information below, then talk with our team about your questions, your options, and what to expect.

Relieving Dental Anxiety

Care at your pace, on your terms

Dental anxiety keeps a lot of people away from the dentist for years, and small problems become big ones in the meantime. Our team is trained to slow down, explain every step before it happens, and stop whenever you raise a hand.

For patients who need more than a gentle approach, we offer sedation options ranging from nitrous oxide for a longer appointment to deeper sedation for more involved treatment. At your first visit we simply talk — no pressure, no surprises — and build a plan you are comfortable with.

Questions

Relieving Dental Anxiety FAQ

Will you judge me for how long it has been?

No. Our job is to help you from where you are today. Many of our happiest patients had not seen a dentist in five, ten, or twenty years.

What sedation options do you offer?

Nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedation, and IV sedation for appropriate cases. We will recommend the lightest option that lets you be comfortable, and review your medical history first.

Can I just come in and talk first?

Yes. Book a consultation and tell us at scheduling that you would like to meet the team before any treatment. We will keep it to a conversation.
